I Broke My Boob and More

So, George Clooney and I do have something in common. He broke his rib too! But he was having fun when he broke his, I was out taking "The Sustainable Times," a Green Paper I deliver around the area to different business's and it was snowing as it seems to be doing allot of around here this particular year which puts me into the be careful mode automatically. I parked, got out, grabbed twenty five papers and headed for Falbio's Pizza. I stepped up onto the curb and that is the last I recall for at least one second. I must have looked like a deer on a pond. One leg went right and the other I have no clue where it went and my arms, they went forward leaving my left boob wide open to hit the solid icy pavement with great force. "Burning pain" radiated the area.
My first thought was, my hip is fine, no need to pull out the nursing home stories yet. Then a nice man came to my assistance and said, "Are you alright." I said, "I don't know, I think I have a heart concussion." You see that old heart has put up with all the bad boys I picked and too much cheese and chocolate, especially after I discovered chocolate cant get you pregnant. Add five children, two very precious foster children, several Grand-children, divorce's from Peter Pan's, and just life, good long life. So no I don't know if I am alright sir." I checked in at Urgent Care the next day after a night of pain and speculative sleep between a cat and a small dog and a hairball all over my new supposedly romantic purple hairy-dogged bedspread. eeewwww... Back to the point... I drove through one more snow storm to the urgent care thinking all the time how fast it would go because people do not go to Urgent Care in bad weather. Not. 82 patients in three hours they told me. And if I wanted I could go do errands and come back in two hours that would be fine. No way, I brought my trusty word search so I had it covered. It turned out to be one hour....x-ray, the backless robe, pain, get me outta here deal. "You have a cracked rib and it will take a month to heal..." Ok, I have two days to offer this situation and that is it. So it is what it is...two days and I am back with the program of life and work.
I broke my boob, gave my heart a concussion, went dancing with the stars, pun intended, and my boob didn't even swell. It swelled under the boob which gave me the ghastly three boobs. EEwwww again. Breathe.......keep going, after all, my license plate reads ALSWELL!! Be that right or wrong that is what I claim. ALSWELL
